The coronavirus put things together that we always thought have to be separate. Work and home life used to have separation, but now, the first screen time of the day and the last are more often than not about some email from your manager. Being social and staying at home resting used to be two different things being done in two different places; now, your friends come with you to dinner and, sometimes, a bath.

But more than anything, the pandemic touches on everyone’s health, and it put together a picture that we all really need to see: clean living is an absolute thing. It’s not just about one aspect of your life (diet). It’s also about your personal cleanliness (hygiene), your mind (mental health), and your body (physical fitness). If you’re not aware of it yet, COVID-19 is putting everyone to an unexpected and lengthy stress test that will last at least until the end of the year. That’s why there’s no better time to look after yourself and help others look after themselves than now.

If you’re familiar with plant-based diets, it’s time to put your knowledge into practice during the lockdown. You do have all the time to come up with recipes that will fit well into your lifestyle and routines that will put your body into a healthy cycle. Don’t underestimate how well your body copes with micro-management. It will notice the difference between an omelet and a freshly pressed multi-fruit juice in the morning. You can even start there so that your body will have a fantastic start. Then, you can work it into your mid-day meal and then your evening intake. You don’t have to do it all, but what’s important is that first injection of freshness in your routine.

This can also be your chance to use what information you’ve accumulated to start a clean living movement through business. Starting your juice bar franchise isn’t so complicated anymore. You already know a fair amount not to get lost in the initial conversations, so you know how you’ll run your business and what to serve. There is a learning curve on the business side, though, but it’s nothing too complicated. More often than not, there’s always support to count on when you encounter things where you’re not well-versed. You’ll be surprised at how staff, marketing, and finances put a twist in your business.

Or that a plant-based diet can help with staving off COVID-19? There’s a stark difference between diets that surround these two things, but that’s the thing. You may think that your “normal” diet isn’t causing you harm, but now that the value of your health is at an all-time high, it’s time to pay attention to details. It may end up saving you and putting you on the road to absolute wellness.

It will be some time before the pandemic is over and more time to realize its full effect in our daily lives. But what’s real now and in the future is that clean living is more important. Whether it’s just rubbing alcohol on your hands or eating well, it all adds to your total wellbeing.
